Communication is key to
a vital and successful school community. Parents need to know what their
children are doing in class. Teachers need to know when parents have
concerns about their child's experience. Parent groups need to reach the
entire community to accomplish their goals. There are many avenues of
communication used by the RHS community. Scroll down to read details
about each one.
- Monday Memo - a paper bulletin of announcements
sent home with each student each week
- School E-mail List - a method of sending
announcements to members' e-mail addresses. You have to join the list to
receive the announcements.
- Teacher Notices - messages from teachers to
the community at large
- School Web Site - this site, which is
maintained by the PTA and Dads Club
Every Monday, each child is sent
home with a packet of information about school activities and meetings for
the various parent groups. Reading the Monday Memo is essential
for staying informed about activities on campus.

Sometimes teachers wish to
share information with the school community about subjects other than
classroom learning, for example activities of the teachers union (OEA)
or opinions about public education policy. These documents will be
posted on the website as they become available.
- Notices from the teachers
are archived here.
