RHS Walkathon and BBQ

This is one of the major fundraisers for the school! School spirit is the key to this event's success. Friends, neighbors and relatives pledge a donation for every kilometer walked by the sponsored student. Students receive Walkathon shirts & medals as well as TLC, popsicles and lots of water on the day of the walk. Parent and guardian volunteers are needed for event planning; setup and cleanup, first aid station and food station staffing. Parents and guardians help as event boosters by being classroom recruiters. Money raised helps purchase educational marerials, fund field trips, school assemblies and more!

After the Walkathon come to the Rec Center field for a BBQ cohosted by the Dads Club and the Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association. Relax, enjoy the food and applaud all those who worked so hard to make the Walkathon a success. Tickets for the BBQ are sold during the Walkathon and at the Rec Center.
